About

Combustion Air & JMM Industries

History

JMM Industries and our predecessor firm Combustion Air have been servicing the mining industry since 1976 with our technologically advanced WCC Carbon Reactivation Kilns. Our proprietary kiln technology has been supplied to over 170 projects globally. Our unique kiln technology utilises an advanced pyrolisation extraction technique and recycles heated waste gas to optimise energy efficiency. Our robust design allows for our technology to operate in the toughest mining areas and many of our kilns are still operating after 30 years in service.

Our predecessor company, Combustion Air has won multiple research awards, including a National Energy Innovation Award for the efficient use of energy. Founded in Perth (Australia) over 40 years ago, company founder and innovator Peter Stewart embarked on a program of research and development to overcome problems encountered with conventional technology and develop an efficient, robust and reliable carbon reactivation kiln. This drive for excellence enabled Combustion Air to dominate the global Carbon Reactivation Kiln market and out successor firm JMM Industries continue to deliver excellence to the mining industry.
